evasionThe iOS 6.x jailbreak dubbed evasi0n has been installed on seven million iDevices since its Monday morning release, Cydia administrator Jay Freeman told Forbes

That makes evasi0n the most quickly adopted jailbreak software of all time, drawing in far more users than previous jailbreaks, like iOS 5.1.1's Redsn0w, the last available jailbreak before evasi0n.

As of Thursday night, Freeman's alternative app store had received visits from 5.15 million iPhones, 1.35 million iPads, and 400,000 iPod touches that were jailbroken with evasi0n, the first jailbreaking software for the iPhone 5 and iOS 6.1.

Though he doesn't have exact figures for previous jailbreaks, Freeman says that evasi0n has brought Cydia "insanely more new traffic" than the release of the jailbreak tool called Absinthe that worked on some versions of iOS 5.

Forbes points out that even one of the more popular jailbreaks of 2011, Jailbreakme3 from Comex, only drew 1.4 million downloads during its first nine days online. Freeman attributes this to the amount of time that it took to crack iOS 6 - 136 days - compared to the 98 days that it took to unlock the iPhone 4S.

That's what made this such a landmark jailbreak. It had been so long and we were all so hungry for it.

As mentioned in a previous article by Forbes, evasi0n, which is the first untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5 and for devices running iOS 6.x, takes advantage of five distinct bugs in the iOS 6 code.

Evasi0n was updated to version 1.1 yesterday, fixing a bug that caused the weather app to crash. The jailbreak is available for OS X, Windows, and Linux on the evasi0n website.

concept-13-technically-4gFrom 2007 to 2010, Apple’s iPhone release schedule was like clockwork. Summertime used to signify the arrival of a new Apple smartphone; in 2011, however, the schedule suddenly shifted, and the iPhone 4S became the first iPhone released outside of the summer months, launching in October. The iPhone 5, released last September, again followed this new "autmn schedule."

In 2013, Apple is expected to release at least one new iPhone model – likely called either “iPhone 5S” or “iPhone 6” – but Apple might have better luck waiting until the very end of the year to announce its newest iPhone, rather than follow Apple's new 11-month release cycle that might see a new iPhone in September, or even August.

Last year, the iPhone 5 took product hype to a new level: Unfortunately, despite people talking about this unknown device for more than a full 12 months, introducing the device only seemed to dampen excitement surrounding Apple -- perhaps the company's stock felt the worst hit. In fact, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock hit an all-time high just before the company released the iPhone 5 in mid-September, and has been falling like a brick ever since. Even the company's record-breaking earnings report last month couldn't turn the tide.

A new software tool promises deep system access to the inner workings of the iPhone 5, as well as Apple's latest devices, running the newest iOS.

DSC 0946Despite Apple's best efforts to keep users from gaining deep access to its iOS software, it's proven to be a cat-and-mouse game that just won't quit.

The latest -- from the mouse front -- is a tool called evasi0n, which was released this morning. The software jailbreaks the most recent version of Apple'siOS 6 software, something that's already been accomplished. However this new, much-awaited tool continues to work even if you restart your iPhone or iPad, and also works with the iPhone 5.

The software itself runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux and can be used on "all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini models running iOS 6.0 through 6.1," its creators say. Once installed, users can install applications on their phone outside of Apple's App Store using tools like Cydia. Some of those same software tweaks can also be used to make major changes, like reskinning the operating system, or adding extra functionality.

The effort comes just a few days after Redsn0w, a similar jailbreak solution that worked on iOS 6.1, but was not compatible with Apple's newer chip architecture found on the iPhone 5, as well as the latest iPads and iPod Touch. For its part, Apple released iOS 6.1 a week ago today.

iPhone-5S

Apple seems not-too-snug in its seat with Samsung and BlackBerry  on the prowl. This time, we have reason to believes that iPhone 6 and iPad 5 could see a slew of the latest features that could give all Apple counterparts a run for money.

Apple could take on high-laced technology in the form of 1080 p HD display coupled with laser-based perception tech like it never used before.  The latter could double as a desktop keyboard too! A snippet from Patently Apple reveals that the next installments of the Apple outings could come with a control panel 115 that could run on sensory light waves. It says, “Remember, this could also apply to Apple’s iPhone as well which would indicate that there would be some kind of associated smart cover or built-in stand so that the projected keyboard could function properly onto a surface.”

However, for now we could only keep fingers crossed till these features are actually seen on the Apple models in the future.

I've played enough games in the past, Contre Jour is one of the most fascinating in the market. The game is just like it was come out from a fairy tale, because in reality it is really inspired by fairy tale. The little hero of the game called Petit (named for La Petit Prince) is inspired by the namesake hero of the story "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Since the beginning of the game, things that will amaze you is the very sleek design in gray palette with a touch of blue surreal, the incredible world of harmonic motion of Contre Jour and the excellent music that just takes you to a imaginary world.

Pac Man Dash

mza 3398023968220250360.175x175-75

Pac-Man has been around for over 30 years, but is usually relegated to munching in a maze. Like many other video game characters, Pac-Man has now made the transition to the endless runner in the form of Pac-Man Dash. It’s a fast paced 2D side scrolling sprint covering twisting pathways while collecting dot cookies, and ghosts. Rather than an endless set-up, there is a single concrete mission to complete in each level whether it’s running a certain distance, eating a certain number of ghosts or cookies, or using a special ability. It’s a whole new way to play Pac-Man, and a different way to play the endless runner style.
